Maxims to rewrite my operating system
As Abraham (of Abraham-Hicks) is fond of saying: “A belief is just a thought you continue to think.” Therefore, if I’ve allowed myself to be programmed by the thoughts of family, friends, and society while growing up, then it stands to reason that I can reprogram myself by thinking different thoughts. The tricky part is the mind is stuck in those well-worn ruts of the old thoughts.
As Marisa Peer points out, you need to make what’s currently familiar — unfamiliar. And correspondingly what’s currently unfamiliar — familiar.
Curating, looping, and reinforcing teachings and my own revelations has proven to be one effective way at rewriting my mental operating system.
This is my current list of maxims. It changes periodically and gets updated as I continue to expand my consciousness.
Circumstances don’t matter. Only state of being matters.
EVERYTHING is a blessing.
I am capable and well-able.
Things are always working out for me.
Supply follows demand.
ASK!
I Choose.
All needs met now.
I can do it.
Strong. Vital. Supple. Alive.
I am. I create.
Allow. Surrender.
I am master of my thoughts — master of my state of being.
It doesn’t matter.
I set the tone.
Do your best. Forget the rest.
Fear not.
Good, bad. Who knows?
Let it go.
I love my life.
I don’t care.
It has to be alright that you don’t make your bed.
